Am I covered for dental and optical treatment?

Dental and optical cover are optional modules on most international health insurance plans. Whether you have cover depends on which modules you selected when you took out your policy.

Dental Cover

Basic dental cover typically includes routine check-ups, scale and polish, fillings, and extractions. Comprehensive dental cover may also include crowns, bridges, root canals, and orthodontics. There is usually an annual benefit limit ranging from USD 500 to USD 3,000 depending on your plan.

Optical Cover

Optical cover typically includes eye tests, prescription glasses or contact lenses up to an annual limit, and in some cases laser eye surgery. Annual optical benefit limits are usually between USD 150 and USD 500.
