When should I start my policy renewal process?

Most international health insurance policies renew annually. Starting the renewal process early gives you time to review your cover, compare alternatives, and avoid any gaps in protection.
When Should You Start?
We recommend beginning your renewal review at least 60 days before your policy expiry date. This gives sufficient time to obtain comparison quotes, consider any plan upgrades or downgrades, and process the paperwork without rushing.
What We Do For You
The Insurance Concierge proactively contacts you before your renewal is due. We review your current plan, check whether your insurer has made any changes to premiums or terms, compare alternatives from our panel of insurers (BUPA Global, Allianz, April International, NowHealth, and Raffles Health Insurance), and present you with a clear recommendation.
Can I Switch Insurers at Renewal?
Yes. Renewal is the best time to switch. However, be aware that switching insurers may reset waiting periods for certain conditions or require new medical underwriting. We will advise you on the implications before you decide.
